How the profit share works

The current estimate includes unrealised gains and uses the agreed fixed initial deposit.

Current portfolio value − £1,000
÷ 2 = each party’s estimated share

A positive figure shows half of the current profit. A negative figure shows half of the current loss against the initial deposit. This is an indicative calculation, not an amount available to withdraw.

Withdrawals are shown separately. They lower the wallet’s current value and therefore already reduce the remaining return. They are not added back or subtracted a second time. Trading fees and gas paid from this wallet also reduce its value.

Values are indicative market valuations, before exit fees, slippage or tax. The £1,000 baseline is fixed under the agreed calculation. Any later contribution would require an agreed change to that baseline. Separately paid costs are disclosed in the journal and do not alter this formula. Profit sharing is withheld when data is stale, valuation is incomplete, or funding and scope are unconfirmed.
